Shiatsu is a body therapy originating from Japan. It literally means 'finger pressure' and involves working on meridians and acupuncture points on the body with thumbs, fingers and palms as well as using stretches and other mobilising techniques.

Within a Shiatsu session the person is seen as a whole, physical and emotional illnesses are linked to the flow of energy within the body. The purpose of every treatment is to enable the body to rebalance itself and promote good health.

Shiatsu can help with a wide range of conditions and injuries. Treatments are deeply relaxing and regular sessions can help combat the stress and anxiety that many people are dealing with in their everyday lives.
